The Icelandic Horse World Championships will take place in Switzerland in 2025. And this already for the third time. After the World Championships in Fehraltorf in 1995 and in Brunnadern in 2009, the international event will be held in Birmenstorf in the canton of Aargau. More precisely on the centrally but at the same time in the countryside located Hardwinkel farm of the Huwiler family. Icelandic horse fans and horse enthusiasts can look forward to the world's best in sport and breeding. Around 22 nations will compete in various competitions to win one of the 24 desirabled world championship titles. But that’s not all. Thanks to the Event Town, entertainment fans will also get their money's worth with an attractive supporting programme. Thanks to concerts, food stands, various shopping opportunities and emotional and passionate sports, it will be an experience for young and old. Up to 30,000 visitors are expected. So unforgettable moments are already guaranteed.
